Dyer County Fair opens every year on Labor Day and runs for one week. Carnival rides, livestock exhibits & shows, horticulture, crafts and first rate entertainment are just some of the reasons the fair was selected "Best of State" among other communities of comparable size.

In Dyersburg, the parade takes place each year on the Monday following Thanksgiving. The biggest parade in the region, Dyersburg boasts over 150 individual entries including colorful floats, marching bands, the Shriners clowns and of course the arrival of Santa Claus!
